Pousada Gunnar offered a solid experience during our recent holiday, blending comfort with a practical approach to value. The rooms were maintained with a commendable level of cleanliness, featuring a small patio that allowed us to unwind while enjoying ocean views. An outdoor swimming pool added to the relaxation, providing a momentary respite from the heat. The highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast buffet, which catered well to diverse tastes, offering local delicacies alongside fresh fruit and juices. This made mornings enjoyable and truly set the tone for the day ahead. While the amenities were great, it was the helpfulness of the staff that truly distinguished our experience. They thoughtfully provided tips for local attractions and were patient with our limited Portuguese, conversing easily in German. Given the comprehensive offerings-from beach access to an inviting garden area-Pousada Gunnar represents a compelling option for those seeking a balance between luxury and affordability in stunning surroundings.
